Founders’ KBS Tap Party
Founders’ Intents

Life, liberty and the pursuit of great beer.
That’s what the founding fathers really intended for us, and the Fickle Peach makes good on that promise this month.
The week of April 13th through 16th, we’ll be offering some of the best beers Founders’ has to offer – Backwoods Bastard, Breakfast Stout, Double Trouble and Imperial Stout.
Then on Friday, April 17th, we’ll have a tap party featuring the legendary Kentucky Breakfast Stout.
Many will be tempted to taste all five varieties, and to help them in their quest, we’ll also be selling Galway Race Sandwiches – sliced hot ribeye steak with onions, mushrooms and provolone cheese on a panini roll. Don’t miss it!
Valentine’s Day Beer Dinner Huge Success!
This weekend’s Valentine’s Day Beer Dinner was a smashing success.
Thirty-three of our favorite patrons settled in for an evening of delicious food and phenomenal beers.
The meal started off with a salad and a firkin of Bell’s Hopslam – one of only two in the entire state. Being the number one Bell’s beer seller in the state does have its perks.
The Clams Oreganata appetizer was served with Bell’s Hell Hath No Fury Ale, a delicious abbey double (I should know, I had four later that night!).
The biggest hit of the evening, though, was the spinach and wild mushroom lasagna with prosciutto, served with Bell’s flagship beer, Amber Ale.
The Bresilien, from Ghyslain Chocolatier in Union City, was equally delicious and with a pint of Bell’s Porter, it was a great way to finish off the evening.
Our next beer dinner will be in the spring, with a selection of Founders beers. You won’t want to miss it.

Hopslam!
Bell’s Hopslam is here!
We just tapped this tongue-bruising imperial IPA, and it has been worth the wait.
Fairly sweet with citrus hops in the nose and some vanilla. The flavor has a good kick of alcohol with citrus and sweet honey. The sweetness of the honey is what really makes this IPA special.
A monster beer at 10% ABV and 70 IBUs, it’s not for the timid; but for fans of hoppy beers, this is the one of the best ways we can think of to spend your tax refund check.
Leave your keys at the bar, though!
WOW, Founders ROCKS!!!!
We tapped the Founders’ Breakfast Stout and of course we ripped right through it. We have been very fortunate to have this great beer on draft twice in the last nine months. The Breakfast Stout is my favorite beer by this creative brewery. The oatmeal adds a sweetness that cuts the java to perfection. The chocolate of course only builds the beer to a crazy flavor profile, adding more and more as the pint warms up. For those who do not know, we have a second keg of this killer beer waiting in the wings. We plan on a great beer dinner like the last Founder’s beer dinner that we had Ty Morton put together. It of course rocked!!! If you missed it, keep an eye out for the post in February.
Thank you all for your patronage,
Peach
Founder’s Imperial Stout on tap!
We just tapped a keg of Founder’s Imperial Stout, an exclusive for Muncie.
At 10% ABV, this seasonal is an excellent winter warmer.
Lots of chocolate, dark malt and a hint of vanilla; but with a smoothness that belies the high alcohol content.
Founder’s continues to prove itself as one of the great midwestern breweries. Come in and try a pint!
